My Framework
Everything I do is rooted in two ideas: that we are shaped by our earliest relationships, and that we have the capacity to heal through new ones.
Attachment, the way we learn to connect, seek comfort, and navigate closeness, doesn’t stay in childhood. It follows us into our adult relationships, into the way we respond to stress and conflict, and into the experience of becoming a parent. The patterns formed early become the choreography we dance to later, often without realizing it.
This is why trauma, couples work, and perinatal support aren’t three separate things in my practice; they are three different moments where attachment patterns surface most visibly and where the most meaningful change becomes possible.
We are wounded in relationships, and we heal in relationships.
Trauma Recovery
Trauma often begins as an attachment wound. When safety, attunement, or protection is missing, whether in childhood or in a later relationship, the nervous system adapts. Those adaptations make sense. They kept you safe. But over time, they can become the very patterns that keep you stuck.
Couples Therapy
Most relationship conflict isn’t really about the surface issue; it’s about the deeper question underneath: Are you there for me? We slow the cycle down, find the attachment need driving the conflict, and help partners reach for each other in ways that actually land.
Prenatal & Postpartum
Pregnancy and new parenthood reactivate attachment like few other experiences can. Your own early history gets stirred. A new bond is forming. The identity shift can feel disorienting. This is tender, important territory, and it deserves more than generic support.
The Modalities I Use
The approaches I work with- IFS, EFT, and somatic therapy- are all attachment-informed at their root. They work with the nervous system, with relational patterns, and with the parts of you that learned early on what it meant to be safe, seen, and loved.
My hope is that by the end of our work together, those old patterns feel like a choice rather than a given, and that you have the relationships, inside and out, to support that.
